 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event.  How COVID ended my marriage – Shade Ladipo spills


In a recent development, media personality and entrepreneur Shade Ladipo  has shed some light on her marriage. 


Taking to social media in a recent live video with Daddy Freeze, she expressed that she was no longer married. In a revelation that completely shocked Daddy Freeze as well as netizens and fans, she revealed that during the Covid19 in 2020 things had become strained between her and her partner


She further expressed that she had travelled to Canada as a married woman. However, she had returned back to Nigeria as a single woman. She also hammered on the fact that Covid and the separation had played a major role in their divorce. 


Back in 2020, Shade Ladipo had also opened up about married people who get divorced. She revealed that being married has made her understand some things about marriages. 


She expressed that until a person gets married, they will never understand some specific things about marriage. But after being married, she now understands why people’s marriages end after just 3 years.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
