 PRESS RELEASE OPERATION HADIN KAI FOILS MASS ABDUCTION ATTEMPT AT FGGC MONGUNO Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), in collaboration with personnel of the Nigeria Police Mobile Force (MOPOL), successfully foiled an attempted mass abduction by ISWAP terrorists at the Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Monguno, at about 0130 hours (1:30 a.m.) on 19 July 2026. The FGGC facility is currently being utilized by the Borno State Government as temporary hostel accommodation for students of the Federal Polytechnic, Monguno. The terrorists reportedly gained access to the facility with the assistance of suspected collaborators in an attempt to abduct students. Alert security personnel immediately engaged the terrorists with coordinated and overwhelming firepower, effectively stalling their advance with Sector 3 Quick Reaction Force (QRF) immediately reinforcing the school.  Saraki Turbaned as New Magaji of Agoro Compound


In a dignified ceremony, Alh. Muhammad Mustapha Muktar Saraki Agoro was officially turbaned as the new Magaji of Agoro Compound, Agbaji, Ilorin.


The event, held at Agbaji Mosque, was attended by prominent Islamic scholars, community leaders, and dignitaries.


 Renowned Islamic scholar, Sheikh Alhaji Rareem Baba Lagbaji, in his sermon, emphasized the importance of leadership, humility, and community service.


He urged the new Magaji to lead with integrity, wisdom, and compassion, citing the teachings of the Holy Qur'an and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).


The newly turbaned Magaji, Alh. Muhammad expressed gratitude to the community and promised to work tirelessly for the development and well-being of Agoro Compound.


He promised to uphold the values of justice, fairness, and unity, ensuring that Agoro Compound remains a symbol of peace and harmony.
