The Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun, has reaffirmed her unwavering commitment to delivering impactful developmental projects and improving the community welfare of residents of the council.
Reacting to unfounded claims of financial misconduct being circulated about her recently, Princess Animashaun dismissed the allegations as baseless, emphasising that her administration upholds the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and responsible financial management.
She challenged those behind the accusations to present verifiable evidence of any wrongdoing, stating that the allegations were nothing more than a deliberate attempt to distract her from completing the legacy projects that directly benefit the people of Epe.
"I urge the public to disregard these unsubstantiated claims, which are aimed at misleading residents and causing unnecessary disaffection. My administration remains focused on its mandate to drive progress and uplift the lives of our people," she stated.
Princess Animashaun highlighted some of her administrationās landmark achievements including construction and rehabilitation of roads, renovation of public buildings, and installation of streetlights to enhance security and mobility.
"Strengthening primary healthcare facilities with modern equipment and improved services to ensure quality medical care for residents. Renovation of schools, provision of essential learning materials, and empowerment programmes for students and teachers.
"Implementation of skill acquisition programs, entrepreneurial support for small-scale businesses, and various initiatives aimed at fostering economic growth and self-sufficiency among residentsā, she added.
Princess Animashaun reaffirmed her commitment to good governance, pledging to continue delivering impactful projects that will further enhance the development of Epe Local Government.
