 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event.  Vanessa Hudgens welcomes second child

Actress and singer Vanessa Hudgens, known for High School Musical, Grease: Live, and Bad Boys for Life, announced on Instagram that she has given birth to her second child.

“Well…. I did it. Had another baby!!! What a wild ride labor is. Big shout-out to all the moms. It's truly incredible what our bodies can do,” Hudgens, 36, wrote Saturday, alongside a photo of herself in a hospital bed. The newborn does not appear in the photo, and details such as the baby’s name and sex have not been shared.

Hudgens and her husband, professional baseball player Cole Tucker, 29, revealed in July that they were expecting their second child. The couple, who married in 2023, welcomed their first child, a boy whose name has not been made public, in 2024.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
