NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable.  Kelly Osbourne slams 'disgusting' body-shaming comments about her recent appearance: 'No one deserves this abuse'

Kelly Osbourne has spoken out against the barrage of negative comments she has received about her appearance, particularly in the months following the death of her father, Ozzy Osbourne, in July 2025. On February 23, she posted on Instagram condemning body-shaming remarks, including one that compared her to a “dead body.”

Calling the abuse “disgusting,” she reminded followers that no one deserves such treatment. Her frustration echoed earlier posts from December, when she described the commentary as “absolutely devastating” while grieving her father’s loss.

Osbourne explained that her current appearance reflects the toll of grief and illness, not cosmetic choices or weight-loss drugs, as some critics suggested. She emphasized that she is doing her best to move forward, sharing only the positive aspects of her life online.

In deleted clips, she addressed accusations of using Ozempic, firmly denying the rumors and stressing that her family is her main source of strength. Her mother, Sharon Osbourne, publicly defended her, saying Kelly’s struggles with eating were directly tied to losing her father.

Throughout her career, Osbourne has been candid about her relationship with body image. She underwent gastric sleeve surgery in 2018, losing 85 pounds, and later spoke about gaining 100 pounds after welcoming her son Sidney in 2022. In interviews, she admitted hiding from cameras during that period to avoid cruel commentary.

By 2024, she had denied rumors of using Ozempic, insisting her weight changes were tied to lifestyle and motherhood. Her latest posts continue that openness, highlighting the emotional impact of public scrutiny and her determination to focus on healing.
