U.S military seizes third ship in Indian Ocean connected to Venezuela 

The Pentagon reported the third interception in the Indian Ocean of an oil tanker allegedly tied to Venezuela’s illicit oil operations after fleeing the Caribbean.
The Department of Defense said on X that “three boats ran and now all three have been captured.” Officials said the vessel was operating in defiance of President Trump’s sanctions on vessels in the Caribbean and attempted to evade authorities. “From the Caribbean to the Indian Ocean, we tracked it and stopped it. No other nation has the global reach, endurance, or will to enforce sanctions at this distance,” the post stated.
