Nigerian man, Chimaobim arrested after caught with pants off, exposing self in public in U.S U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested a Nigerian national, Chimaobim Adedayo Igbojekwe in Pennsylvania after he pleaded guilty to a disorderly conduct charge following a public exposure incident. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said ICE took Igbojekwe into custody on October 1, following his arrest by local police on September 27. According to DHS, Igbojekwe pleaded guilty to the disorderly conduct charge. Following his conviction, ICE arrested him on October 1. Local reports cited by DHS said Igbojekwe was working as a canvasser for Janelle Stelson, the Democratic nominee for Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District, when the incident occurred.  “Detention Without Proper Investigation Must End” - Says El-Rufai  Former Kaduna State governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, has warned that Nigeria is drifting towards governance without accountability, citing selective enforcement of anti-corruption laws as a major threat to democracy. El-Rufai criticised what he described as a targeted fight against corruption, arguing that it weakens accountability and erodes public trust in government. He also condemned the increasing use of arrests and prolonged detentions without thorough investigation, saying such practices are being deployed as tools of intimidation rather than justice. Bandits Abduct Two Daughters Of Widow In Kaduna Community Suspected bandits have attacked Maraban Rido community in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, abducting two daughters of a widow. The victims were identified as Deborah Edward, a corps member who completed her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme in December 2025, and her younger sister, Rachael Edward. The attackers reportedly stormed the family’s residence late on Monday night and forcefully took the two sisters away. The incident occurred barely two weeks after the mass abduction of worshippers from ECWA and Cherubim and Seraphim churches in Kurmin Wali community.
