 Agha Mba Inspects Sports Facilities Across Anambra, Pledges Rehabilitation of Stadiums By Ifeoma Aniagbado The Anambra State Commissioner for Youth Development and Sports, Mr. Patrick Agha Mba has embarked on an inspection tour of major sports facilities across the state as part of efforts to assess their condition and chart a path for their rehabilitation. The inspection was conducted on June 2, covering the Chuba Ikpeazu Stadium in Onitsha North Local Government Area, Otuocha Township Stadium in Anambra East, Godwin Achebe Stadium in Onitsha South, Ogidi Stadium in Njikoka, Solution Stadium in Aguata and Awka City Stadium in Awka South. Speaking during the exercise, the commissioner said the visit was aimed at evaluating the current state of the facilities and identifying areas requiring urgent intervention to restore them to full functionality. SHIITES INVADE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY TODAY IN OTHER TO FREE EL-ZAKZAKY.{PHOTOS}.

     Members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria staged a protest at the entrance of the National Assembly on Wednesday.
Shouting “Allah Akbar,” the protesters forcefully entered the Assembly complex.
They moved towards the second gate which leads to the chambers, as policemen on security duty at the complex advised them against the action.
The Shiites have regularly held street protests to press for the release of their leader, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, who has been in detention since December 2015.
Zakzaky is being held by the Department of State Security, while facing charges for culpable homicide, unlawful assembly, and disruption of public peace.More details later and more photos below.
