 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment. SHIITES INVADE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY TODAY IN OTHER TO FREE EL-ZAKZAKY.{PHOTOS}.

     Members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria staged a protest at the entrance of the National Assembly on Wednesday.
Shouting “Allah Akbar,” the protesters forcefully entered the Assembly complex.
They moved towards the second gate which leads to the chambers, as policemen on security duty at the complex advised them against the action.
The Shiites have regularly held street protests to press for the release of their leader, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, who has been in detention since December 2015.
Zakzaky is being held by the Department of State Security, while facing charges for culpable homicide, unlawful assembly, and disruption of public peace.More details later and more photos below.
